Ollie, a human-grade fresh dog food brand, is introducing Holiday Feast, a seasonal recipe developed for the 2026 holiday season.
Holiday Feast includes turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberries and butternut squash. The recipe was developed by Ollie's team of veterinarians, chefs and food scientists.
"At Ollie, we believe being obsessed with your dog is something worth celebrating, and there's no better time to lean into that than the holidays," said Bryan Angolia, dog chef and senior manager of R&D at Ollie. "Holiday Feast takes the obsession to the bowl, giving dog parents a fresh, thoughtfully crafted meal that feels as special as the dog it's made for. We combined seasonal ingredients like turkey, sweet potato, cranberries and butternut squash into a one-of-a-kind, special meal that lets dog parents celebrate their pups without simply handing over the leftovers."
The company said common holiday table foods, including turkey skin, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, and pumpkin pie, can be harmful to dogs.
Recipe ingredients include:
- Turkey and turkey liver, the recipe's primary protein sources.
- Sweet potatoes, which provide carbohydrates, fiber, and vitamins A and C.
- Cranberries, a source of antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins C and K.
- Butternut squash, which contains fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
- Green beans and spinach, which provide vitamins A, B, C and K, along with iron, antioxidants and beta-carotene.
According to a survey commissioned by Ollie, 96% of American dog owners say they give their dog something special to eat during the holidays, and 95% say they buy their dog a holiday gift. The survey also found 90% of respondents said their dog deserves a special holiday meal, and 73% said their dog is as much a part of the holiday celebration as any other family member. More than half of respondents, 52%, said they have driven rather than flown for holiday travel to accommodate their dog, including 20% who drove eight hours or more. Nearly a quarter, 23%, said they have spent $100 or more on their dog's holiday gifts in a single year, and 47% said they have wrapped presents for their dog.
Holiday Feast will be available while supplies last, beginning Oct. 6 for existing Ollie Pack members and Oct. 8 for new customers at Ollie.com. The recipe will also be available at Petco locations nationwide starting Oct. 9.
The noted the recipe is formulated to meet AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages, including growth of large-size dogs expected to weigh more than 70 pounds as adults.
