Fera Pets has introduced Healthy Weight & Muscles for Dogs, a daily soft chew supplement formulated to support lean muscle mass, metabolism and body condition in dogs. The company first showed the supplement at SuperZoo 2026, and it is now available on ferapets.com and Amazon.
Fera Pets developed the veterinarian-formulated chew in response to demand from pet owners for ways to support their dogs’ weight and body composition, according to the company. The company said the product undergoes third-party testing.
The formula is designed to address muscle protein synthesis, fat metabolism, cellular hydration and metabolic function, with the goal of helping dogs maintain lean muscle and body condition as they age, the company said.
Key active ingredients include:
- myHMB (calcium beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate monohydrate), a metabolite that supports muscle protein synthesis and lean muscle mass.
- Priome Metabolic Health Postbiotic (heat-treated Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis), a postbiotic that supports weight management.
- Betafin (betaine anhydrous), which supports metabolic function, cellular hydration and body composition.
- L-carnitine, which supports fat metabolism by moving fatty acids into cellular mitochondria to fuel muscles.
