Biorigin releases 2023/2024 sustainability report

The report details key environmental and operational achievements, highlighting renewable energy use, global exports and strategic investments.

Biorigin has published its Annual Sustainability Report for the period April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024. The report outlines major initiatives across natural-origin ingredient production, where Biorigin enhances food flavor and nutritional value for both people and pets, while providing efficient, health-focused solutions for producers.

Highlights include exporting 90% of production to over 60 countries, using 100% renewable electricity, and achieving biogenic carbon emissions 14 times higher than non-biogenic emissions. The report also notes an approved investment of R$70 million in the Quatá unit aimed at boosting efficiency and productivity, and the launch of the Biorigin +Sustentável 2030 program, which focuses on safe suppliers, sustainability and product quality.
