Zoomark and Petzoo Eurasia have announced a strategic partnership intended to link the European and Turkish pet food markets while facilitating broader industry growth across the Middle East.
Zoomark, one of Europe’s largest B2B pet trade shows, and Petzoo Eurasia, Turkey’s leading pet industry exhibition, will collaborate on mutual promotion, knowledge exchange and joint initiatives. Organizers say the partnership is designed to support exhibitors and stakeholders looking to access new regional opportunities.
“This collaboration with Petzoo Eurasia represents a significant step in Zoomark's mission to foster international cooperation within the industry,” said Enrico Zannini, general director of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof. “Turkey's strategic position as a bridge between Europe and the Middle East offers immense potential for market expansion and innovation. Together, we aim to create new opportunities for our exhibitors and visitors alike.”
The partnership follows the 21st edition of Zoomark, held May 5–7, 2025, in Bologna, Italy, which drew over 1,300 exhibitors and nearly 31,000 visitors from more than 120 countries. Petzoo Eurasia’s 11th edition is scheduled for October 8–11, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Center, and is expected to attract more than 42,000 visitors.
“By aligning with Petzoo Eurasia, we are not only expanding our geographical reach but also enriching the diversity and depth of our events,” said Luisa Bersanetti, exhibition manager of Zoomark. “This synergy will enable us to better serve our stakeholders by providing access to emerging markets and fostering a more interconnected global pet industry community.”
The Middle Eastern pet industry is rapidly expanding, with the market in the United Arab Emirates alone projected to reach $2 billion by 2025. Drivers include rising pet ownership, a growing middle class, and increasing demand for premium and sustainable pet products — trends both shows aim to support.
“We are excited to partner with Zoomark to enhance the international profile of Petzoo Eurasia,” said Selçuk Çetin, general manager of Ulusal Fuarcılık. “This alliance will not only showcase the strengths of the Turkish pet market but also provide our exhibitors and visitors with greater access to European innovations and business opportunities.”
Organizers say the collaboration is part of a broader strategy to support global pet industry growth through more interconnected trade platforms.
