Nutrish is rolling out a new visual identity and packaging design aimed at aligning more closely with consumer expectations around transparency, nutrition and ease of choice. The updated look will debut nationwide through spring and summer 2025.

With redesigned packaging and revised product names, Nutrish aims to simplify the shopping experience for pet owners, according to the company. Updates include a more prominent display of real ingredients used in each recipe, simplified benefit messaging, and new formulations such as the Whole Health Blend for dogs and cats, which promotes support for an active mind, healthy body, and balanced energy. Some products will also feature a “Veterinarian Reviewed Formula” claim.

“The evolution of Nutrish is more than an updated look or grooming; it's a renewed promise to pet parents,” said Tracy Fleischhacker Quigley, senior brand eirector - Nutrish, at Post Consumer Brands. “We've listened closely to what our consumers want – to feel confident they are making the right choice to support their pets' health – and now Nutrish is delivering a modern, intuitive brand redesign that reflects the sensible nutrition in every bowl.”

To mark the update, Nutrish will host a consumer-facing event, “New Look, Same Nutrish: A Brand Evolution,” on May 20 at Torch & Crown in New York City. Scheduled to coincide with National Rescue Dog Day, the event will feature pet grooming, product sampling, adoption opportunities, and promotional activities in partnership with North Shore Animal League America.

“We're proud to team up with Nutrish for this exciting event in NYC as they enter this notable new chapter,” said Joanne Yohannan, senior vice president of Operations at North Shore Animal League America. “We are deeply grateful for their support that aligns with our mission, giving animals the best possible start, and life, in their new homes.”

The brand’s community focus continues through its affiliation with The Rachael Ray Foundation, which supports animal welfare and human charitable initiatives. Since its inception, Nutrish has helped enable more than $95 million in donations to these causes, as of December 2024.
