Ollie has launched its Baked Turkey Recipe at Petco stores nationwide and on Petco.com. The Reno, Nevada-based fresh dog food company designed the product as a seasonal offering for dogs during Thanksgiving.
The baked recipe features turkey as the first ingredient, combined with fruits and vegetables. The company slow-bakes the product to preserve flavor and nutrients. Each recipe uses ingredients sourced according to veterinary nutrition science principles.
The Baked Turkey Recipe retails for $16.49 for a 2-pound bag at Petco locations. The launch expands Ollie's existing lineup of baked recipes available through the retailer.
According to Petfood Industry's Top Pet Food Companies, Ollie produces human-grade fresh dog food, baked dog food, treats and supplements. The company said it develops its recipes with input from chefs, veterinarians and food scientists, with oversight from veterinary nutritionists. Ollie said it uses data from thousands of dogs to inform product development.
