Jersey City, New Jersey-based Rescue Treats is expanding its premium dog treat brand with a give-back model that directs profits to animal rescues and shelters nationwide.

Founded by Arron Jones-Williams, who grew up in the foster care system, the company produces all-natural, limited-ingredient dog treats using small-batch, U.S.-based production. Rescue Treats partners directly with shelters and rescues, providing financial contributions to support medical care, food, rehabilitation and adoption efforts.

The company positions its products within the premium treat segment, emphasizing clean-label, minimally processed formulations and biodegradable packaging.

Rescue Treats has introduced a "Double Fundraiser" program designed for schools, sports teams, clubs and other organizations. Participants sell medium-sized bags of treats in a structure similar to traditional school fundraisers. Proceeds benefit both the selling organization's designated programs, such as extracurricular activities or sports equipment, and Rescue Treats' partner rescue organizations.

On its website, customers can designate which rescue organization they want to support at the time of purchase.

The company's retail expansion strategy focuses on independent pet specialty retailers, regional boutique chains and community-oriented retail environments.
