BHJ USA has appointed Anna Macht as vice president of innovation and business development, a role in which she will lead the company's innovation initiatives and support its business development strategy and global growth efforts.
Macht brings more than 18 years of experience in the pet food industry, with a background in companion animal nutrition, market development and commercial strategy. She joins BHJ USA from IQI, where she served as North American sales manager.
In her new position, Macht will work across teams and with customers to identify emerging opportunities, develop early-stage ideas and translate nutrition-driven insights into ingredient solutions for the global pet food market.
"At BHJ, our mindset is about making the most out of everything — every raw material, every idea, and every partnership," said Luke Bibby, chief operating officer of BHJ USA. "Anna brings a perspective that aligns deeply with how we explore value. As we continue working alongside our customers to turn potential into progress, her experience and curiosity will help us see new possibilities and help our partners succeed."
Macht said the company's approach to collaboration was a key draw.
"What really stands out to me about BHJ is how intentionally they invest in their partners," she said. "That collaboration ultimately shapes the quality and function of the nutrition that reaches pets. When companies are willing to explore ideas early and put real resources behind them, it creates better outcomes — not just for customers, but for the pets those products are designed to support."
