Zoomark 2027 confirms seven special exhibition areas

Zoomark 2027 will be held May 11-13 at BolognaFiere in Bologna, Italy, featuring seven special areas designed to highlight different segments of the pet industry, according to show organizers.

The event's new special area, called Beyond, will focus on end-of-life services and memorial care for pets. Organizers said the area reflects a shift in how companion animals are viewed, with pet owners increasingly seeking support for their pets through every life stage, including death. Beyond is described as the first international business-to-business platform dedicated to that market segment.

Six special areas from the 2025 edition will also return for 2027:

Factory will showcase the pet industry supply chain, including raw materials, production technology, packaging, logistics and sustainability.

NEXT will serve as an area for startups introducing new technologies, products, services and business models to the pet industry.

Atelier will feature premium brands in pet fashion, design and beauty.

Pawfect! will focus on professional grooming and pet wellness, including educational sessions and demonstrations.

Aqua Project will cover developments in the aquarium and terrarium sectors, including technology, design, sustainability and education.

Pet Vision, built on the previous New Product Showcase, will highlight new products and industry trends. Organizers said the area is intended to help buyers and companies track market dynamics and consumer behavior through curated products, expert content and networking opportunities.

"Our special areas were created to reflect the complexity of a rapidly evolving market," said Pascale Sonvico, show office and sales manager at Zoomark. "We offer exhibitors more than exhibition space, we provide targeted visibility and an authoritative business environment where their products, expertise and innovation can become a genuine competitive advantage."
