FPM group announces rebrand

The rebranding unifies multiple process industry leaders under the new Coperion brand.

The former Schenck Process Food and Performance Materials (FPM) group of companies has officially rebranded as Coperion. This name change follows the acquisition by Hillenbrand, Coperion's parent company, in September 2023.

The rebranding unifies multiple process industry leaders under the Coperion brand, enhancing the company's ability to offer a comprehensive range of solutions, technologies and services across various markets, including food, health and nutrition sectors such as baking, confectionery, pet food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, as well as the polymers and performance materials industries like plastics, plastics recycling, chemicals, batteries and minerals.

Key Changes and Benefits:

  • Integrated Technologies and Services: Coperion now encompasses flagship brands previously under Schenck Process (FPM), such as Raymond Bartlett Snow, Stock, Baker Perkins, Kemutec and Mucon. This consolidation provides customers with streamlined access to a wide array of process technologies and expert support.
  • Enhanced Customer Service: The rebranding enhances Coperion's commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and services. Customers will continue to benefit from hands-on support, including access to test and innovation centers globally.
  • Expanded Capabilities: The integration strengthens Coperion's portfolio, enabling it to meet every process step with advanced solutions, backed by a team of experts in process technology.

Leadership Statements:

  • Matthew Craig, general manager, FPM: Expressed excitement about the new Coperion's potential and its positive impact on the company and customers
  • Ulrich Bartel, president, Coperion: Highlighted the strategic decision to strengthen Coperion's capabilities by merging trusted technologies and people under one brand, continuing Coperion's legacy of leadership and proven performance.

The rebranding marks a significant milestone, beginning in May 2023, when the FPM division separated from the German-based Schenck Process Group, which has since rebranded as Qlar in an unrelated process. With the new identity, the group's website has transitioned to coperion.com/fpm, and all related communications have been updated to the @coperion.com domain.
