SuperZoo 2025 offers 474 new exhibitors, 1,000+ product launches

The 75th anniversary show in Las Vegas features the largest participation in the trade event's history as pet retailers navigate market pressures and seek new product solutions.

SuperZoo 2025 announced it is approaching a sellout with three weeks remaining before the August 13-15 event at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The show will host more than 1,100 exhibitors, including a record 474 first-time participants and 713 returning brands, with over 1,000 products making their debut.

The attendance surge comes as pet retailers face a bifurcated market with growing demand for both premium and value products, according to Cleveland Research's Spring 2025 Pet Industry Update. A spike in cat ownership is also driving new approaches to merchandising and product development across the industry.

"Retailers aren't just looking for products — they're looking for the right products to move their business forward," said Mike Karsting, Senior Vice President of World Pet Association. "SuperZoo is built to deliver exactly that: fresh ideas, standout assortments, and the high-value supplier connections that build a better business. And while e-commerce is essential, our industry knows that true innovation is best discovered and vetted in person. That is the experience SuperZoo is built to deliver."

The show floor spans more than 350,000 square feet and features exhibitors across functional nutrition, tech-enabled convenience products, grooming, wellness, and sustainable care categories. The record number of first-time exhibitors reflects increased industry focus on pet health, wellness, and enrichment products.

Previous show data indicates strong buyer engagement, with 72.5% of 2024 attendees placing orders during the event and 94% purchasing from suppliers they discovered onsite. Nearly a quarter of attendees manage purchasing budgets exceeding $1 million.

The event includes a new retailers and emerging brands networking event at Swingers Mini Golf on August 13, an education program covering AI-driven marketing and digital strategy, expanded networking lounges, daily meet-ups sponsored by industry publications, and show floor demonstrations.

"Every detail of SuperZoo 2025 was built around the realities retailers are facing right now, and we can't wait to celebrate this milestone 75th anniversary with them," added Karsting. "We're bringing them the brands, products, people and ideas they need to compete and succeed in today's market."
