Pet food experts will present their latest research on pet food trends, nutrition, novel ingredients and processing during Petfood Forum Europe 2017, scheduled for June 13 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. The conference will be part of the new FVG Select, a networking event organized and hosted by Victam.
While Western Europe is a developed, mature pet food market, it saw growth of 2.1 percent and value sales of US$21.16 billion, according to Euromonitor, whose global head of pet care research, Paula Flores, will lead off the Petfood Forum Europe conference program. The Eastern European market experienced strong growth of 7.4 percent, reaching US$4 billion in pet food sales.
Network with pet food peers
The new FVG Select event will include a series of industry-specific conferences and matchmaking with colleagues and clients from throughout these important industry sectors, plus a small industry expo for a select group of companies. The matchmaking program features an online tool that allows participants to plan appointments efficiently and focus on the meetings during FVG Select 2017. Besides Petfood Forum Europe, other conferences will include FIAAP Animal Nutrition.
