ProAmpac secures U.S. patents for sustainable packaging

New patents offer advanced mono-material solutions for recyclable, high-performance packaging.

ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging and material science, has been granted multiple U.S. patents for its ProActive Sustainability recyclable and recycle-ready technologies.

The company said these patents mark a significant milestone in its effort to develop mono-material packaging solutions that deliver sustainable alternatives without compromising on performance, shelf life or production efficiency. The new patents cover innovations such as the ProActive Recyclable R-2000 and R-2050 Series for a range of applications including dry and frozen foods, ProActive Recyclable R-1200 for dry food packaging, ProActive Recycle Ready RT-4000 for high-barrier retort pouches, and ProActive Recyclable TearLite Pouches with directional opening features.
