American Packaging Corporation (APC) has reached two key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) milestones: earning a Bronze sustainability rating from EcoVadis and completing its fifth consecutive year of environmental impact disclosure to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
“American Packaging is very proud of both these achievements,” said Katie Koenitzer, corporate EHS director. “For EcoVadis, APC scored in the top 25%, representing a level of achievement equal to or higher than 75% of all submissions in all industries. For CDP, by disclosing our environmental impact data each year for five years in a row, APC is demonstrating its commitment to continual monitoring and improvement. These achievements motivate us to work together to continuously improve, embrace our responsibilities, and optimize our practices in a responsible manner.”
EcoVadis evaluates companies on environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. APC’s Bronze rating places it in the top 35% of all companies assessed globally.
CDP, a nonprofit global disclosure system for environmental data, scores companies on climate-related transparency and accountability. APC has voluntarily submitted data to CDP annually since 2018, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and environmental impact management.
