Charm Pet Food, an Ontario, Canada-based family-owned company, launched its new dog and cat kibble line on Canada Day, with products now available at pet stores across Canada.
The recipes feature ingredients sourced from Ontario and include a minimum of 90% animal-source protein. The grain-free formulas are designed as low-carbohydrate options for carnivorous pets.
"We are a proud, family-owned company, and we're thrilled to offer pet parents recipes made with many ingredients from our own backyard in Ontario that harness the power of nature," said Rod Johnson, Charm Pet Food general manager for North America. "Our goal is to craft healthy recipes pet parents can trust to keep their dogs and cats strong and healthy and to fuel every adventure."
The company's W.I.L.D. recipes incorporate functional ingredients including eggshell membrane, collagen peptides, turmeric root, Antarctic krill, Reishi mushrooms, turkey tail mushrooms and chaga mushrooms alongside fresh meat proteins.
Charm Pet Food manufactures its products in Ontario for the Canadian market.
