Wellness Pet Company and Strava have partnered to launch the “Wellness Pet Minutes That Matter Challenge,” a nationwide campaign running May 1–31, aimed at promoting physical activity and wellbeing for pets and their owners. The initiative coincides with Mental Health Awareness Month and encourages participants to log 250 minutes of activity — such as walking, hiking or jogging — with their dogs.
The challenge is hosted on Strava, a platform with over 150 million members worldwide. Participants who complete the challenge will be entered to win a Wellness Pet Active Wellbeing prize package, including $250 in Wellness products, a $250 Visa gift card, and branded merchandise. All entrants will also receive a $5 Amazon coupon for Wellness products.
"At Wellness Pet, we know that wellbeing is something to be shared between pets and pet parents, and our 'Wellness Pet Minutes That Matter Challenge' with Strava is the perfect reminder to spend some extra quality time together," said Allison Giorgio, chief marketing officer of Wellness Pet Company. "We're thrilled to join the vibrant, active Strava community to celebrate the simple joy of movement with our dogs. It's a powerful driver of both mental and physical health — and when paired with the right nutrition and high-quality ingredients, it helps fuel even more meaningful adventures together."
The initiative is part of the newly launched Wellness Pet Run Club on Strava, a digital community offering pet parents training tips, exclusive content, route ideas, and product giveaways.
