Kormotech, a family-owned global company with Ukrainian origins and a top-50 global pet food producer, has begun constructing its second production facility in  Kėdainiai, Lithuania. With a €60 million (US$62 million) investment, the company said it is reinforcing its position in both the European and global markets. Currently, Kormotech products are available in 44 countries.

The new plant, located in the  Kėdainiai Free Economic Zone, will triple Lithuania’s wet food production capacity from 22,000 to 60,000 tons per year and is expected to create 200 new jobs. The company currently operates three production facilities — two in Ukraine and one in Lithuania, which has been operational since 2020 — and produces products for brands such as Optimeal, Club 4 Paws, My Love and Delickcious.
