Furchild has opened a new production facility in Dubai designed to meet human-grade food manufacturing standards. The 15,000-square-foot kitchen represents an investment of over US$5 million.
Founded in 2016, Furchild produces complete and balanced raw meals for dogs and cats using human-grade ingredients without fillers, preservatives or artificial additives.
Furchild's recipes are formulated to meet AAFCO and FEDIAF nutritional guidelines and are approved by board-certified veterinary nutritionists. Furchild
"This facility represents years of planning and a shared commitment to raise the bar for pet food manufacturing in the UAE and wider GCC," said Rob Kelly, co-founder and CEO of Furchild. "It operates to the same food safety and quality standards as human-grade kitchens and reinforces our mission to make fresh food more accessible to pets across the region."
Furchild's recipes are formulated to meet AAFCO and FEDIAF nutritional guidelines and are approved by board-certified veterinary nutritionists. Every batch undergoes laboratory testing in EIAC-accredited facilities before distribution.
The facility includes a dedicated research and development space for future product innovation.
"Every part of this facility reflects our core promise to pet parents, to produce food we would proudly feed our own pets," said Katherine Cebrowski, co-founder and creative director. "It's a testament to our team's passion and commitment to giving pets the best life possible."
Furchild offers subscription-based meal plans, freeze-dried treats and natural toppers across the Middle East region.
