JBT Marel and Aurum Process Technology announced an exclusive cooperation agreement that adds Aurum's aseptic food processing and flexible packaging capabilities to JBT Marel's global portfolio, with a focus on wet pet food and ready meal applications.

The company said the partnership brings together Aurum's specialization in aseptic processing with particulates and aseptic filling in flexible packaging and JBT Marel's system integration capabilities.

Both companies exhibited at Interzoo 2026, May 12-15 in Nuremberg, Germany.
JBT Marel's Interzoo booth also features a VR experience showcasing its recently launched Minimally Processed Pet Food line, which covers wet food, traditional kibble and "un-kibble" categories. The exhibit builds on the company's existing pet food partnerships with Wenger and Extru-Tech.
