
With six months remaining before Interzoo opens May 12-15, 2026, in Nuremberg, Germany, the event has already exceeded its 2024 total display area bookings. For the first time, exhibitors will present products and services across 15 exhibition halls and 16 national pavilions.
Germany, China, Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey, Belgium, the U.S., Spain, Poland, the United Kingdom and India lead exhibitor representation. Egypt, Kazakhstan, Mexico and Saudi Arabia will exhibit for the first time, having not attended in 2024. Turkey, Thailand and Spain will debut country pavilions in 2026.
"The record number of registrations for Interzoo 2026 underlines its role as a driving force and trailblazer for the global pet industry that provides valuable direction to industry experts and market participants alike," said Dr. Rowena Arzt, head of exhibitions at WZF - Pet Industry Services, Interzoo's organizer.
"During the four-day event, trade visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore the complete spectrum of the pet supplies sector with its incredible diversity of products and services, nurture their personal business contacts with innovators and decision-makers, and draw inspiration from the event's dynamic atmosphere and energy of the global pet community," she added.
The 2024 event reached capacity approximately three months before opening. The ticket shop for visitors opens December 5, 2025.

Petfood Forum Europe returns in 2026
On 11 May 2026, the Petfood Forum Europe will take place for the third time ahead of Interzoo. As part of the fee-based conference, organized by WATT Global Media's Petfood Industry, scientists and experts will showcase the latest trends, research and innovations in pet nutrition for dogs and cats.
Topic highlights include the use of alternative protein sources for pet food and the special challenges in supply chain management. The conference is aimed at pet food manufacturers, suppliers, and product developers from around the world who area active in Europe or seeking industry contacts.
In addition to informative presentations, the one-day event offers numerous networking opportunities.
The conference fee includes a multi-day pass to Interzoo, giving attendees the opportunity to combine their conference and trade fair visit and strengthen business contacts at Interzoo.
