Canidae All Natural Pet Foods is going green by manufacturing its Snap-Biscuits and Snap-Bits dog treats at a wind-powered facility in Oklahoma, USA, according to a company press release.
Thirty-four towers and turbines, with massive 110-foot blades, combine to produce 50 megawatts at peak output.
Canidae saves about one pound of coal for every kilowatt-hour generated by wind, according to the release.
