1. Carnivore Meat Company acquires new building

2. Crown Holdings to expand food can production capacity

10. ADM expands pet food production capacity in Mexico

The Mexican Pet Solutions division of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) announced an investment of US$30 million in a new production line at its Guadalajara pet food plant, active since 1961. The new operation is kicking off in January 2023, and its purpose is to supply the northern markets of Mexico and Colombia, where ADM Pet Solutions has a presence.

21. Montego acquires distribution facilities

Petcurean gained access to United Petfood’s 17 production facilities in Europe, exporting to 80 countries. Petcurean’s recipes will be delivered throughout Europe from these facilities starting in autumn 2022.

Nestle Purina PetCare plans to expand its pet food manufacturing facility in Jefferson, Wisconsin, USA, reported the Daily Jefferson County Union. The proposed US$100 million expansion to Purina’s pet food facility would add 5,000 square feet or more of new facility space. Purina projects that the expansion will need at least 75 new full-time employees with average starting wages of US$25 per hour or more.

The project is part of the company’s strategy to become a leading protein supplier to the European pet food industry and increase its production capacities.
