Kormotech continues work in Ukraine

Kormotech continues operations in Ukraine.

Russian rocket shelling throughout Ukraine on October 10th and 11th caused power outages in many regions of Ukraine. Kormotech’s facilities were no exception. Despite the short stoppages, the company continues to work.

“Over the past seven months, the company has adapted to work in these conditions. We became even more vital since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, preparing for different scenarios. All our team is safe, and that is the most important. We stopped for a few hours to keep our people safe and resumed work soon after air raid sirens were off while the authorities restored the power supply in the region," said Ulyana Fitsa, a global supply chain officer.

Kormotech’s headquarters and Ukrainian facilities are Lviv based, near the Polish border. It is still relatively safe in the area, and the company is ready for different scenarios.

“We have a sufficient stock of finished products and raw materials for all our customers in 33 countries worldwide. In addition, our factory in Lithuania is working at total capacity, and European partners in outsourcing are always there for us,” says Fitsa.

At the same time, the company continues to implement the Save Pets of Ukraine humanitarian initiative. It saved more than 160,000 pets in the first few months, delivering 650 tons of aid to most corners of Ukraine.
