Irish petfood manufacturer C&D Foods announced it will eliminate nearly 30 positions due to the effect of weak sterling on its export business, according to a story from www.independent.ie .
The eliminated jobs will come from its Edgeworthstown plant in Co Longford . The company has 312 employees. According to the story, approximately 90% of its products are exported to the UK .
