Fromm Family Foods is recalling all lots of three of its products after its own analysis found the products do not contain recommended levels of vitamins and minerals, and might contain elevated levels of vitamin D.

This recall is being implemented in an abundance of caution, as symptoms should be noted only in situations where dogs have eaten the affected products as their only meal for an extended period, which could lead to depression of appetite. While there have been no reports of any health problems, Fromm is recommending the affected products not be fed.
The affected cans were shipped to distributors during the limited time frame from December 2015 through February 2016. There are no other Fromm products affected by this recall, and this effort is being undertaken in coordination with the FDA.
