Other report highlights include:

  • The EBIT margin increased 20 basis points to 15.7% of sales
  • The RIG held up, reflecting strength of brands such as Friskies, Beneful, DogChow, Gourmet and Fancy Feast
  • Purina Beneful  (considered premium food) grew 38%
