The 19th Annual Feeds & Pet Food Extrusion Short Course , organized by the Food Protein Research & Development Center of the Texas Engineering Experiment Station , went on without a hitch the week of February 1-6 in College Station, Texas, USA.
The objectives for the gathering were to train production personnel in principles and characteristics of extruders and support systems for effective selection and operation; review current practices for preparation of full-fat soy meal, processing raw animal products, preparation of petfoods, aquaculture, poultry and swine feeds; and demonstrate equipment in operation, and familiarize attendees with practical aspects of feeds extrusion technology.

The next event will occur sometime early 2010, but details are yet to come.
