Fetch natural dog food names first president

Audry Henniger will lead Fetch’s team and guide its strategic growth.

Fetch, a fresh dog food company based in Portland, Oregon, U.S., has named a veteran pet food executive as its first president.

Audry Henniger, who has more than 20 years of experience with successful retail operations in pet food and other categories, is now leading Fetch’s team and guiding its strategic growth. Started in 2020 by Paul and Mary Mardesich, Fetch is available for home delivery or through a retail network of pet food stores throughout Oregon and Washington. Fetch has plans to expand into other markets on the West Coast in 2025.

“I’m thrilled to join the Fetch team and collaborate with such a talented group of professionals,” said Henniger. “With my years of experience in the pet industry, I’m eager to bring fresh ideas and a dynamic approach to help build a uniquely Pacific Northwest brand that reflects our region's spirit and values.”

Henniger previously served as North America market and sales manager for a global pet food company for 10 years. She has also been a category manager for product management and category development for alternative pet foods for a national pet supply company. She started her career at a national grocery distributor, and  advanced through the corporate ranks to category manager for several product lines, including pet supplies.

“In the last four years, we have built a solid foundation, serving fresh foods to our direct-to-consumer and retail customers," said cofounder Paul Mardesich. "With Audry’s deep industry knowledge, we are excited to see her talents lead Fetch in the next hyper-growth phase of our business.”
