Caru Pet Food, known for its natural stews, treats and bone broths for pets, has selected Kane Pet Supplies as its national distribution partner across Canada.
The partnership builds on Caru’s existing relationship with Kane, a division of Kane Veterinary Supplies, which began in 2021. Caru’s co-founder, Adrian Pettyan, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting Kane's longstanding reputation.
“Ever since its inception in 1969, the Kane organization has been a leader in the distribution of high-quality pet products across Canada," said Pettyan. "So, we’re excited to join forces with the Kane Pet Supplies team. We share a commitment to offering products that provide the best possible nutrition for pets.”
To bolster its Canadian market presence, Caru is updating all product packaging to include bilingual English and French content. "We have converted 50% of our packaging to a bilingual format at present and hope to have the rest completed in the coming year," Pettyan noted.
Based in Vero Beach, Florida, Caru said its products are made in the U.S. from responsibly sourced, 100% human-grade ingredients and include omega-rich stews and broths in Tetra Pak cartons. The brand also offers its Soft ‘n Tasty Treats and Smoothies (lickable treats) for dogs and cats.
