
The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has recognized a group of longstanding members for their ongoing support and engagement in the animal food industry, including contributions to policy shaping, collaboration and industry advancement.
“Our longstanding members bring valuable perspective to the table,” said Meghan Dicks, AFIA’s director of membership and engagement. “Their commitment over the years has helped ensure the association remains responsive to the needs of the animal food industry.”
This year, AFIA acknowledged several members for milestone anniversaries, including:
- 75 years of membership: LaCrosse Milling Company and TFP Nutrition
- 50 years: Cactus Feeders and Star Milling Company
- 25 years: Cal Poly and WLT Distributors Inc.
AFIA also recognized 30 companies and organizations for 10 years of membership, including Blue Buffalo Company, Alabama Farmers Cooperative Feed, Inc., Ardent Mills, Birdsong Peanuts, Cal-Maine Foods, Creighton Brothers, DFA Farm Supplies, Synergy Feeds, Thomas Moore Feed and the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada (ANAC).
With over 650 member companies across the U.S. and internationally, AFIA represents feed and pet food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, equipment companies, and more — collectively producing over 75% of the commercial feed in the U.S.
