Jim Scott III, co-founder of RAWZ Natural Pet Food, has been recognized as the 2025 VIP of the Year by ThinkFirst, a nonprofit focused on brain and spinal cord injury prevention.
Scott, who sustained a traumatic brain injury in a motor vehicle crash, has spent years speaking publicly about his experience through ThinkFirst Northeast Rehabilitation. His goal: to help others make safer choices and understand the long-term impacts of serious injuries.
“Jim’s work reflects that mission — not only because of his incredible story, but because of his heart,” said Janet Scott, co-founder of RAWZ. “Whether he’s advocating for brain and spinal cord injury prevention, inspiring young people to make safe choices, or simply leading by example, Jim embodies the values of both RAWZ and ThinkFirst. We couldn’t be prouder to see him honored as VIP of the Year.”
In addition to his public speaking, Scott contributes to the RAWZ blog, writing about pet health, personal recovery and the human-animal bond. He also remains active in community outreach and fitness, continuing his efforts to educate and support others.
