RAWZ promotes pet industry veteran to key North American sales role

Luis Raya will oversee strategic key account development in the U.S. and Canada for RAWZ Natural Pet Food.

RAWZ Natural Pet Food has promoted Luis Raya to key account manager for the U.S. and Canada, expanding his leadership responsibilities in driving strategic sales growth across North America.

Raya, who joined RAWZ in 2016 as sales manager, brings more than 25 years of experience in the pet food industry. In his new role, he will lead the development of sales strategies focused on key account growth, support existing partners, and execute targeted promotional initiatives.

“Since joining our team, Luis has been instrumental in expanding RAWZ’s presence within the independent pet specialty channel,” said Janet Scott, owner of RAWZ. “His deep industry knowledge, strong distributor relationships and passion for purpose-driven work make him the perfect leader to help elevate our key account strategy and support ongoing brand growth.”

Before joining RAWZ, Raya held senior sales and management positions with Nature’s Logic, WellPet and Nutro Pet Products. His expertise includes category management, new business development, and partner engagement. He is also bilingual.

RAWZ donates 100% of its profits to organizations that support cat and dog rescues, service dog programs, and research into spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. RAWZ is a third-generation, family-owned business focused on minimally processed, nutritionally exceptional pet food recipes.
