The 2025 Pet Innovation Awards announced winners across multiple pet food and supplement categories, recognizing companies for product innovation in the expanding pet care market. The independent awards program received thousands of nominations from companies worldwide.
"Pets are members of the family, just like anybody else, and the numbers show it," said Travis Grant, managing director, Independent Innovation Awards. "With the humanization of pets, pet parents are constantly on the lookout for products and services that keep their pets healthy and thriving. From supplements and treats to pet insurance, dog feeders and collars, there's a growing preference for premium products and services. According to Independent Innovation Awards, the pet care industry has reached US$157 billion in total U.S. expenditure, driven by increased pet lifespans and consumer demand for premium products. Pet food manufacturers represented a significant portion of this year's winners across categories including frozen/raw foods, functional diets, treats and health supplements.
