ROHA Group has acquired Tebracc, a Brazilian natural color manufacturer specializing in annatto extraction and processing. The deal consolidates ROHA's position in the natural colors market while expanding production capabilities in Brazil.
"Customers today are looking not only for high-performing, clean-label solutions, but also for the confidence that supply will remain stable as demand for natural colors continues to grow," said Mahesh Tibrewala, managing director of ROHA Group. "With Tebracc joining the ROHA family, we are strengthening our leadership position in natural colors and ensuring that we can support our customers' ambitions for decades to come."
The company said the acquisition provides ROHA with backward integration and raw material security for annatto and other pigments, increased production capacity in Brazil, and diversified natural color offerings for food, beverage, nutraceutical and pet food brands worldwide.
Tebracc's expertise in annatto complements ROHA's existing portfolio of natural pigments as consumer and industry demand shifts toward natural, plant-based solutions. Brazil serves as a key region for natural color sourcing.
