
Coperion is celebrating multiple anniversaries this year that total 280 years of combined experience in material handling operations. The company's material handling business in Weingarten, Germany, and its feeder and conveying manufacturing facility in Niederlenz, Switzerland, both reach 125 years of operation, while Coperion Ideal in Noida, India, marks its 30th anniversary.

Coperion K-Tron in Niederlenz, Switzerland, also celebrates 125 years of operation. Originally established as J. Soder Company manufacturing grain milling equipment, the facility has pioneered feeding technology advances including the first volumetric feeder in the early 20th century, the first twin screw feeder in the 1950s, digital weighing technology in the 1970s and the SmartConnex control system in 2003.
