Garner Industries, parent company of BinMaster, HerdStar and Senix, announced that Scott McLain, president and CEO, will step down after more than three decades with the company. McLain will remain involved as chairman of the board, shareholder and strategic advisor.
During McLain's tenure, Garner Industries grew into a manufacturer of industrial sensors and inventory software technology. The company acquired Senix ultrasonic sensors and BinTrac weighing systems under his leadership.
"Leading Garner Industries has been the honor of my career," McLain said. "Our team's commitment to engineering excellence and customer service has been the foundation of our success."
Scott Hudson, currently senior executive vice president of BinMaster, has been promoted to president of Garner Industries. The company noted Hudson has worked to expand BinMaster's market share and introduce technologies across process, agriculture and industrial sectors.
"Scott Hudson's leadership, vision and proven record of growth make him the right person to lead Garner Industries into its next chapter," McLain added.
