Pet Sustainability Coalition names new board chair, directors

The organization appoints Michael Seitz and Caitlyn Dudas to its board while electing Dustin Dover as 2026 board chair.

The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) has appointed Michael Seitz, CEO and chairman of EarthWise Pet, and Caitlyn Dudas, co-founder of PSC and consultant at Good Company, to its board of directors. Dustin Dover, COO of Renew Biomass, was elected 2026 board chair.

PSC also named new officers: Joanne Dwyer of PetSmart as vice chair, Rebecca Rose of InClover as treasurer, Adam Kay of Tyler Packaging as secretary, and Stephanie Volo of Earth Animal as chair emeritus.

"Our board plays a critical role in guiding PSC's strategy and amplifying our impact," said Jim Lamancusa, CEO and executive director of PSC. "Michael and Caitlyn bring deep industry knowledge, proven leadership, and an unwavering commitment to progress that aligns perfectly with PSC's mission. Dustin's election as Board Chair reflects his ability to translate vision into action, helping PSC grow thoughtfully, stay accountable, and lead with clarity as we scale our impact."

Dover has more than 15 years of experience in business development. He founded Renew Biomass, a B2B ingredient manufacturer serving food and pet food brands.

"Over the last five years serving on the PSC Board, I've witnessed the dedication of our chairs and fellow board members in building an organization that delivers real value to its members and drives meaningful progress for our industry," Dover said. "I'm deeply appreciative of their leadership and the strong foundation they've established.

"Renew Biomass' engagement with PSC has created tangible benefits – enabling collaboration with industry peers, providing opportunities for customer engagement and expanded sustainability knowledge across our team," Dover continued. "PSC doesn't just connect companies, it strengthens them. I'm honored to take on the role of board chair to help advance the vision of the organization and accelerate impact across our industry."

Seitz is CEO and chairman of EarthWise Pet, leading the company's growth from a regional chain to a franchise with more than 200 locations.

"Today's consumers expect more transparency and responsibility from the brands they support," Seitz said. "PSC helps businesses meet those expectations in a credible, collaborative way, and that's essential for maintaining trust at every level of the pet industry."

Dudas is a co-founder of PSC who helped grow the organization from eight founding companies to more than 200 members. Her work has included developing Flex Forward, a plastic collection program for the pet industry.

"Serving on the PSC Board represents a new and intentional chapter in my relationship with the organization I co-founded," Dudas said. "It's an opportunity to contribute from a place of stewardship — bringing perspective, continuity, and ambition in support of the board and staff leading PSC today.

"At a time when the pet industry is being called to act with greater urgency and integrity, I'm excited to help advance bold, credible solutions that deepen impact while staying true to PSC's founding values," she added.

PSC was founded in 2013 and serves more than 200 member companies across the pet industry.
