Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), a manufacturer of bakery and snack production systems, has promoted Matt Risser to director of sales, Exact Mixing, following the retirement of Jim Warren.

In his new role, Risser will lead global sales for Exact Mixing continuous mixing systems, working with manufacturers to improve product consistency, increase production efficiency and expand automation. He succeeds Warren, who spent more than three decades in the baking industry and helped establish Exact Mixing in continuous mixing technology.

Risser has worked with customers across a range of applications during his 17 years with RBS. His background in mechanical engineering and project management supports his work helping manufacturers optimize production processes and implement continuous mixing technology.

"Matt has built strong relationships with customers through his technical knowledge, collaborative approach and commitment to helping manufacturers succeed," said Chip Czulada, CEO of RBS. "He understands both the technology and the challenges our customers face every day, making him well-positioned to continue growing the Exact Mixing business while building on the outstanding foundation Jim established."
