Petfood Industry representatives have released the agenda details for the 2018 edition of Petfood Forum China. The exclusive conference will be held on August 21 at the Kerry Hotel in Shanghai, China. Registration is now open with early bird savings available.
“This year’s conference will feature important information on market trends, research and food safety regulations. Wang Jinquan will deliver the opening session presentation,” said Debbie Phillips-Donaldson, editor-in-chief of Petfood Industry. “Wang will provide an update on the country’s pet food manufacturing facilities and production. In addition, he will discuss the new pet food regulations that took effect in May, covering such areas as labels, packaging, raw materials and more.”
Wang Jinquan, Ph.D., is an associate professor with the Feed Research Institute (FRI) of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He also serves as team leader of pet nutrition and food processing technology research lab of FRI and consults with several pet food manufacturers in China.
Other topics presented at Petfood Forum China will include keeping up with the high growth and demand of pet food in China and Southeast Asia, tips to design safe pet food, research on the gut-brain axis, and much more. Petfood Forum China is held in conjunction with Pet Fair Asia 2018, one of the largest pet trade shows in China, scheduled for August 22-26.
