Glacial Freeze Dry acquires Foodynamics

Acquisition combines flexible production capabilities with expanded manufacturing resources for freeze-dried solutions.

Glacial Freeze Dry has acquired Foodynamics, a freeze-dry co-manufacturer, expanding the family-owned contract manufacturer's production capabilities and services.

The acquisition merges Foodynamics' established operations with Glacial Freeze Dry's manufacturing capacity and technology resources. The combined entity will continue offering contract manufacturing services for freeze-dried products while maintaining existing customer relationships and on-site teams.

The acquisition addresses key manufacturing challenges in the freeze-dried sector, including flexible minimum order quantities, rapid pilot production capabilities, and scalable capacity to meet growing market demand.

Existing Foodynamics customers will retain their current service teams while gaining access to expanded manufacturing capabilities and freeze-dry technology. The acquisition includes concept-to-scale assistance designed to meet customer specifications and production timelines.
