Irish Dog Foods was one of 11 national winners in Ireland at an exclusive event held at the British Ambassador’s residence in Dublin for The European Business Awards, one of Europe’s largest business competitions, sponsored by RSM.
Irish Dog Foods was selected by a panel of independent judges including senior business leaders, politicians and academics representing individual countries at the event. The company will now go on to represent Ireland in the Business of the Year awards category in the final stage of the competition.
“We are very proud to receive this award,” said Darren Keating, marketing manager of Irish Dog Foods, in a press release. “Creatively meeting and recognizing our customers’ needs through innovation has propelled Irish Dog Foods into a global player.”
The national winners from each country will face further judging in their chosen category, and the final category winners will be announced at the European Business Awards Gala Final in Warsaw, Poland in May 2018.
“I was delighted to host this event to celebrate the success of the 11 organizations selected to represent Ireland as National Winners in the European Business Awards,” said British Ambassador, Robin Barnett, in a press release. “Their determination to succeed is a role model to others. We already see them as winners. The British Embassy in Ireland and the UK Department for International Trade look forward to supporting these companies with their UK growth plans as they continue to expand.”
Irish Dog Foods in the export industry
Irish Dog Foods, a Kildare-based company, received another award recently in 2017: the Exporter of the Year Award at the Export Industry Awards 2017, which took place on November 17 at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road in Dublin, Ireland. The event recognizes the achievements of companies working in the export industry in Ireland.
