Petfood Forum Europe 2019 will feature experts discussing how to develop an online, direct-to-consumer business model to increase sales as well as to collect unique, inexpensive consumer and pet data for scientific study. Other sessions will address how to build a pet food brand and tribe of loyal customers using social media and how to revive brand loyalty, especially among millennials and younger pet owners.
Scheduled for June 13 in Cologne, Germany, the exclusive conference will be co-located with Victam International 2019. Additional Petfood Forum Europe sessions will cover novel nutritional concepts and ingredients, including plant-based ingredients to limit development of pets’ age-related disorders, fish proteins for pet health benefits and microencapsulated ingredients for better pet food processing control. Networking, focus on European pet food market
Europe is still one of the strongest regions for pet food in the world. In 2017, the European pet food sector delivered €20.5 billion (US$23.5 billion) in turnover, an increase of €1 billion (US$1.14 billion) on the previous year, according to FEDIAF.
Petfood Forum Europe attendees can not only learn how to build and continue market success but also do business with other pet food professionals and leading industry suppliers. The conference includes several networking opportunities such as coffee breaks and lunch, as well as tabletop exhibits from supplier companies.
Early bird registration with savings is open for this conference, and separate registration for Victam International, scheduled for June 12-14, is free if made online before the show.
