Oh Norman!, Kaley Cuoco’s pet care brand, has appointed Hoagie, a Los Angeles-based rescue dog, to the role of chief treat officer (CTO). Hoagie was hand selected by Cuoco following a public voting process in which fans cast their vote for their favorite dog. Oh Norman! received over 5,000 submissions for the role, which comes with an annual salary of $10,000.

Adopted by Emily Reas and Julia Ptasznik, Hoagie was a fan favorite with his submission video, featuring his signature ‘double bubble,’ a rating system that signals just how delicious a treat is. Rescued by Mutt Scouts in San Diego, Hoagie joined Emily and Julia’s family a year ago after searching for his forever home and capturing the hearts of Los Angeles’ rescue community. A loveable goof, Hoagie is widely known for his love of sardines, carrots and other treats.

“I’m so excited that Hoagie will be joining the Oh Norman! team as our new chief treat officer," said Kaley Cuoco, actress, animal advocate and co-founder of Oh Norman!. "After reviewing thousands of applications it became clear that he was the perfect fit for the position and stood for everything our company represents. Oh Norman! was created to make a difference in the lives of dogs and raise awareness for the rescues who are making a difference on the frontlines. We’re thrilled to be able to partner with a dog and a family that upholds these values."

Oh Norman! launched the search for a CTO in June via the company’s website. The company looked for candidates with a keen sense of smell and taste, an understanding of trends and their peers, as well as a proficiency with social media, of course with a supportive pet parent who could serve as a professional camera assistant. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, testing and reviewing all of Oh Norman!’s new product innovations before they hit the market and monthly social media deliverables.

Hoagie will remain in the position of CTO for one calendar year. Those interested in following along with his journey can do so via Hoagie’s personal Instagram @hoagieshaus or the Oh Norman! Instagram account @ohnorman
