
Raw Bistro Pet Fare, Cannon Falls, Minnesota, U.S., is voluntarily recalling its frozen grass-fed beef dog food due to potential Salmonella contamination. The recall affects 3-pound bags and 18-pound bulk cases from lot 239 with a best-by date of August 27, 2026.
The company distributed the affected products directly to consumers and through select distributors between September 1 and September 17, 2025, in California, Colorado, Illinois and Minnesota. The frozen products were sold in sealed packaging.
An FDA-collected sample from a distributor tested positive for Salmonella, prompting the voluntary recall. No illnesses in pets or humans related to this lot have been reported to date.
The recall covers:
- Raw Bistro Dog Fare Grass-Fed Beef Entrée, Frozen, 3-pound bags (UPC 858833002247)
- Raw Bistro Dog Fare Grass-Fed Beef Entrée, Bulk, Frozen, 18-pound cases (UPC 858833002629)
Both products display lot number 239 and the best-by date printed near the bottom of the back of the bag or box.
The company advised pet owners whose animals have consumed the recalled product and show symptoms to contact their veterinarian.
Raw Bistro is conducting the recall in coordination with the FDA.
