Nestlé Purina took down the giant banner draped across the top eight floors of its St. Louis, Missouri, US headquarters on August 3, according to a news report .
The banner, which had a picture of a cat and a dog with a ball, was in honor of Major League Baseball's 2009 All-Star Game that was hosted by the city on July 14, 2009.
Purina has called St. Louis home for more than a century. The company plans to use the banner again if the St. Louis Cardinals reach the playoffs.
