Procter & Gamble Co. plans to shut down its Iams-Eukanuba headquarters facility in Vandalia, Ohio, USA, about October 24, according to a news report . The company first announced the upcoming closure in May.
Company spokesperson Jason Taylor said though October 24 may not be the precise date for the closure, it would be within 10 days. Staff will be relocated to P&G's Mason Business Center complex in Mason, Ohio, USA.
With its petfood business becoming more global, P&G believes it will benefit the unit's employees to have direct access to other P&G business units in Mason, the company has said.
