Nestlé's PetCare segment grew in 2008
NestlÃ©'s 2008 annual report recorded 12% growth in its PetCare segment, according to the company.
Other report highlights include:
- The EBIT margin increased 20 basis points to 15.7% of sales
- The RIG held up, reflecting strength of brands such as Friskies, Beneful, DogChow, Gourmet and Fancy Feast
- Purina Beneful (considered premium food) grew 38%
