The 2008 12th China International Pet Show in China drew 25,000 trade visitors and 476 exhibitors to the Beijing Exhibition Centre from Nov. 6-9, according to a press release.
Exhibitors came from China and 18 other countries, and the number of international trade visitors rose by 30%.
Nürnberg Global Fairs and China Great Wall International Exhibitions organized the show, which featured many petfood products, the release stated.
A program at the 2008 show focused on import and export control of Chinese petfood and accessories and import and export development. Experts from China, Europe and America discussed the legal implications and maintenance of quality standards of pet products in several workshops.
The 13th China International Pet Show is slated for Nov. 12-15, 2009, in Guangzhou at the Chinese Export Commodities Fairs Pazhou Complex.
