The Purebred Company is selling its trademarks for dog and cat food in the US and Japan after a court ruling in the company's favor against H.J. Heinz.
The outcome of the trademark infringement suit solidified Purebred's trademark value. “Our trademarks have been tested and upheld in federal court against some very serious players in the industry,” said Jeffrey Diehl, president of Purebred. “There is an opportunity for those who have wanted to use the Purebred trademarks and now they can finally own them as well.”
