Holistic petfood maker Canine Caviar will exhibit at America's Family Pet Expo 2011, being held April 15-17, at the Orange County Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California, USA.
The company's alkaline-based petfood formulas for dogs and cats were specifically designed to help prevent cancer, Canine Caviar says. Canine Caviar will distribute product samples, and discuss pet nutrition and cancer awareness with attendees at its show booth, 1206.
“Dogs fall victim to cancer at roughly the same rate as humans, yet pet cancer awareness and education has severely lagged behind,” said Jeff Baker, owner and founder of Canine Caviar. “Studies have shown that eating foods that make the body’s pH more alkaline decreases the chance of cancer cells developing and growing and the same is true in dogs. We took that principle and made it the foundation for all of our products.”
